This script was a comedy with an under-represented holiday, Thanksgiving. With this script, I wanted to take the words so seriously, that the comedy unfolded itself. I love movies with a lot of heart & don't take themselves too seriously, while not insulting our audience. The goal is for viewers to care deeply about this story, which I hopes allows for a moment of escape for viewership.
This short was originally intended for a 48 Hour Film Project in Los Angeles, and we won a myriad of awards including Best Director & fan favorite.
